Your first few weeks
Everyone is different, and iron works gradually, not overnight. Here is a realistic idea of how it tends to go.
Week 1
You are laying the groundwork. Most people do not feel much yet, and that is completely normal. Iron builds up slowly.
Weeks 2 to 3
Many people start to notice calmer, more restful evenings and a little less tossing and turning at night.
Month 1 to 2
As your iron stores build, this is when people tend to feel the biggest difference in how they rest and how they feel the next day.
Tip: ask your doctor to check your ferritin (your iron storage), not just the standard iron test. It is a simple ask, and it lets you see your own numbers.
